There is a really good article in the Times today about the months leading up to Obama's decision on Afghanistan. What I take from it is one thing. I am so happy that we have a commander an chief who actually takes his job seriously.
You must read it to understand but Obama didn't go with his "guts" or shoot from the hip about the Afghanistan decision. His decision came from a person who takes his job very seriously. It is such a relief to have a pensive person in control of our military.
