I never really understood Bush's refusal to grant Cali a waver on the
EPA's emission standards. I mean, I did know why (he's a corporate whore) but wavers have been granted to
cali for many
adminstrations. We are at the forefront of the clean air debate.
Well, in keeping with good campaign promises, Obama is granting the waver for cali and 13 other states. I can't wait to see, over time, our air quality improve and our consumption of energy.
